Remember, if you are hired you will need to provide proof of identification and eligibility to work in the United States BEFORE actually starting work! So make sure you have a valid Passport, Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card, School ID, Driver License or State ID card as well as Social Security Card or Birth Certificate readily available.
If you are under 18 you must provide a current copy of a work permit from your school.

FOOD HANDLER CARD CERTIFICATION
Effective Immediately: All applicants and returning employees interested in working for the following departments must have current Food Handler Card Certification (per California SB 602) in order to be considered for employment. The departments are:
Beacon Bar & Grill
Ice Cream Parlor
Coffee & Confectionery
To obtain a California Food Handler Card, food handlers need to successfully pass a food handler-training course and test with a minimum score of 70 percent from an accredited food protection manager certification organization. Food handlers must maintain a valid food handler card for the duration of his or her employment.
