How To Get Here
Camp Rich is Located 15 minutes from Stateline, South Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe lies directly on the Nevada/California border, 200 miles (321.87 km) northeast of San Francisco, 98 miles (157.72 km) northeast of Sacramento, and 58 miles (93.34 km) southwest of Reno, Nevada.
Camp Rich is located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe on Highway 89 (Emerald Bay Road) at 1900 Jameson Beach Road. (Emerald Bay Road is open year-round to Camp Rich.)
Take Highway 50 to South Lake Tahoe. Go straight through the in-town stoplight onto Highway 89 North (2.5 miles [4.02 km]) toward Emerald Bay. Watch for Camp Richardson signage on your right.
Take Highway 395 South to Carson City. Exit at Fairview Drive west, then turn left at the stoplight at South Carson Street (Hwy. 395). Continue south for 2 miles (3.22 km), then bear right (west) at Highway 50 toward Lake Tahoe. Continue on Highway 50 for 27 miles (43.45 km), traveling through South Lake Tahoe until you reach a stoplight at a fork in the road (The Y). Turn right onto Highway 89 North, and drive 2.5 miles (4.02 km) toward Emerald Bay. You’ll see Camp Rich signage on your right.

Parking kiosk opens Memorial Weekend and is available weekends only (Fri, Sat & Sun) until mid-June. Then, kiosk will operate 7 days a week until the end of the season (Labor Day). Parking fee is $12/day 8am-5pm.
Beat the Tahoe Traffic! Take the Water Taxi.
