If warmer temperatures have you longing to get out on Lake Tahoe, great news: Camp Richardson’s marina is fully open starting Memorial Weekend. We have a full fleet of double and single kayaks available for rent, and our paddleboards and peddle boats are perfect for roving the shoreline. Need more speed? Rev the engine of a Four Winns power boat for four, eight or even 12 people and take off on your own adventure. We’ve seen bald eagles and osprey nesting in the giant pine trees along the shore, don’t forget to pack binoculars!
Back at the resort after a full day of fun, you’ll be ready for sustenance. That’s where the Beacon Bar & Grill comes in. We suggest ordering some of our famous calamari and an infamous Rum Runner, then kick back on the deck and enjoy the view of Lake Tahoe. Artists on deck for live music this month include the JKC Band, Trey Stone Band, Solid Gold Hyper Drive and Lake Effect Jazz – all excellent sound pairings with a craft beer from the Beacon’s heady lineup of taps.
