Can’t make it to Munich for Oktoberfest? Join us at Camp Richardson for our annual Oktoberfest, a celebrated event the entire family can enjoy on the shore of Lake Tahoe 10am – 5pm, October 3 – 4. Much like its German counterpart, our Oktoberfest has music and a lively outdoor beer garden, but it also features unique experiences that can only be found at here. So break out the lederhosen and get ready to welcome fall in true Tahoe fashion.

Gruber Family Band
After cruising into the resort via bike or designated driver, you’ll be greeted by the sounds of festive polka music by the Gruber Family Band. Besides laying down a solid bassline on the tuba, the band invites folks to participate in yodeling contests, dances and more. Challenge your friends and family to see who can put forth the best yo-de-leh-tee-hee, or who’s sporting the best Oktoberfest garb. The costume contest is even open to dogs (who must be on a leash at all times).

Great Kid Activities
The merrymaking will work up a thirst, and probably an appetite, too. That’s where our culinary team comes in. An assortment of German food and desserts are served conveniently close to the beer garden. We can’t wait to try the St. Archer IPA-infused Bratwurst that are being made just for this event. St. Archer IPA is one of the many beers we’ll have on tap, and whether you’re hoisting a souvenir stein of one of the Oktoberfest or Heffewiezen style beers, a shot of Jägermeister or a glass of premium wine, the term you’ll want to use is “prost” when it’s time to let out a resounding “cheers!”

The Kids Pumpkin Patch is always a favorite
While you’re strolling around, make sure to check out the local artist and vendor booths, and let the kids go wild in the bounce house and pumpkin patch. Activities for the entire family abound at Camp Richardson, so it only makes sense that our Oktoberfest celebration captures the same spirit in this fun fall event. PS: www.CampRichardson.com has you covered with lodging packages, bike rentals and more dining options during Oktoberfest. Auf wiedersehen!
